Snack Factory Gluten-Free Pretzel Crisps Review

Finding a good gluten-free pretzel can be surprisingly difficult. I wanted something with that classic pretzel flavor that would still hold up well to dips and spreads, so I decided to give Snack Factory Gluten-Free Pretzel Crisps a try.

Lately, I've been loving a snack plate with hummus, tzatziki, and olive relish, and these seemed like the perfect pairing. In this review, we'll go over everything you need to know, including the taste, texture, ingredients, nutrition, price, and whether I think they're worth buying.

About Snack Factory Gluten-Free Pretzel Crisps:

Snack Factory is best known for their Pretzel Crisps, a thin and crispy alternative to traditional pretzels. While they offer several flavors in their regular line, the gluten-free version currently only comes in the Original flavor.

You can find them at most major grocery stores, Amazon, and directly through the Snack Factory website.

Each bag contains 5 ounces (142 g) of pretzel crisps.

At my local Walmart, they cost $2.98, making them one of the more affordable gluten-free snacks I've come across.

Nutrition & Ingredients:

Taste Test:

The pretzel crisps are thin, flat, and roughly 2 inches across with a beautiful golden-brown color. Each one is sprinkled with large pieces of coarse salt, giving them that classic pretzel appearance.

Texture-wise, they're light, airy, and crispy. The rice flour gives them a delicate crunch that's a little lighter than a traditional pretzel. The outside has a smooth, almost glossy finish that makes them feel very similar to the original version.

One thing I really appreciated is that they're sturdy enough for dipping. Whether you're scooping hummus, tzatziki, or another favorite dip, they hold together much better than many gluten-free crackers.

Flavor-wise, they're very similar to a traditional pretzel. The biggest difference is the texture, they're lighter, crispier, and a little airier than regular pretzels, but the familiar salty pretzel flavor is definitely there.

FAQs:

  • Are Snack Factory Gluten-Free Pretzel Crisps actually gluten-free? Yes! They are certified gluten-free.
  • What do they taste like? They taste very similar to a traditional pretzel. The biggest difference is the texture, they're lighter, airier, and crispier than regular pretzels.
  • Are they good for dips? Absolutely. They hold up really well to dips like hummus, tzatziki, and other spreads without breaking apart.
  • Where can you buy them? You can find them at most major grocery stores, on Amazon, or through the Snack Factory website.

These have quickly become one of my favorite gluten-free snacks, especially when I'm putting together a snack plate with dips. They have the classic pretzel flavor I was hoping for, a light and crispy texture, and they're sturdy enough to stand up to thicker spreads.

I'll definitely continue buying these, especially since they're one of the more affordable gluten-free snack options available.

If you're looking for a crunchy gluten-free alternative to traditional pretzels, I think these are absolutely worth trying.
