EPCOT is honestly one of the easiest Disney parks to snack around in if you're gluten free. Between the World Showcase pavilions, festival booths, and specialty snack shops, there are usually far more options than standard theme park fries and packaged cookies.
In this article we will dive into a few of my favorites! These are by no means all of the gluten free snacks available in EPCOT, just a few of the ones I've personally enjoyed the most over the years!
#1: Marinated Olives ($5.25)

One of EPCOT's most underrated snacks can be found at the small sangria stand tucked toward the back of the Morocco pavilion. These marinated olives are savory, salty, and full of flavor, mixed with small pieces of cauliflower and warm spices that make them feel a little more elevated than your average park snack.
#2: Guacamole ($12.50)

Located at Choza de Margarita near the edge of the Mexico pavilion, this fresh guacamole is topped with mango and pumpkin seeds and served with tortilla chips. It's simple, refreshing, and honestly one of my favorite lighter snack options in EPCOT, especially on hot afternoons.

#3: Poutine

Head over to Refreshment Port (soon to become La Poutinerie) to check out the seasonal poutine offerings available throughout the year. Not every version is gluten free, usually due to the gravy, but quite a few of them are, like this Braised Beef Poutine. If you're unsure, always ask before ordering since the menu rotates fairly often.
#4: Grilled Chermoula Chicken Kebabs with Carrot-Chickpea Salad ($6.25)

This flavorful chicken skewer from Tangerine Café in the Morocco pavilion is one of my favorite savory bites in all of EPCOT. The chicken is tender, well-seasoned, and packed with warm spices, while the carrot-chickpea salad keeps it feeling fresh and light. Just keep in mind that this item is not always available year round, so it's worth checking the menu before your visit.
#5: Rice Cream ($4.29)

This creamy rice pudding topped with strawberry sauce can be found at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe near the front of the Norway pavilion. It's simple, comforting, and a nice lighter dessert option if you don't want something overly rich.
#6: Macarons!

Macaron Framboise et Citron Vert ($7.95) & Macaron Collection ($13.50)
Both of these macarons can be found at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie near the back of the France pavilion. The larger raspberry macaron is filled with tart lime cream and makes for a beautiful shareable dessert, while the macaron collection includes several smaller cookies in a variety of flavors.
#7: Chocolate or Seasonal Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich ($8.95)

Head to L'Artisan des Glaces in the France pavilion for one of the best sweet treats in EPCOT. These macaron ice cream sandwiches are rich, chocolatey, and incredibly refreshing on a hot Florida day. There's usually a bit of a line, but honestly, it's worth the wait.
(Find the full L'Artisan des Glaces menu here.)
#8: Maple Popcorn ($6.99)

This is one of those EPCOT snacks that I end up getting almost every single trip. Found at the Canada pavilion popcorn cart, the popcorn is coated in a thick semi-hard maple coating that somehow tastes almost identical to Smacks cereal. It's sweet, crunchy, and extremely addictive. Plus, if you have a refillable popcorn bucket, refills are usually only around $2.65.

#9: Mochi & Hi-Chews (Price Varies)

The Japan and China pavilions are both fantastic places to browse for fun gluten free packaged snacks. I especially love picking up different flavors of mochi, Hi-Chews, rice crackers, and corn chips while wandering World Showcase. Many of these snacks are made without gluten-containing ingredients, but as always, double check labels if you're unsure.
#10: Fry Flight & Yuca Fries - Food & Wine Festival

One of my favorite gluten free festival finds has been The Fry Basket booth during EPCOT's International Food & Wine Festival.
The Adobo Yuca Fries with garlic-cilantro aïoli are crispy, flavorful, and one of the better savory festival snacks I've had in EPCOT. The Fry Flight is also a really fun option if you're visiting with another person and want to share several flavors at once.
The flight typically includes:
Sea Salt & Malt Vinegar Fries
Truffle Parmesan Fries with black garlic-truffle aïoli
Sweet Potato Casserole Fries with cinnamon sugar, candied pecans, and marshmallow cream
As always with festival booths, menus and allergy offerings can change from year to year.
Tips for Eating Gluten Free in EPCOT:
- Plan Ahead: Most EPCOT restaurant and festival booth menus are available online ahead of time and often include allergy-friendly information. It's definitely worth checking menus before your trip if you have dietary restrictions.
- Check Labels on Packaged Snacks: If you're buying packaged snacks around World Showcase, especially imported items, take a moment to read ingredient labels carefully since ingredients and manufacturing standards can vary by country.
- When in Doubt, Ask: Disney cast members are usually incredibly helpful when it comes to dietary questions. Whether you're ordering from a booth, dining at a restaurant, or trying to translate a packaged snack label in another language, don't hesitate to ask for help.
