Pinocchio Village Haus has been one of my favorite Magic Kingdom quick-service restaurants since I was a wee tot. Although the menu is quite a bit different now than it was in the '90s (RIP clam chowder bread bowl), this restaurant still has some decent offerings and one of my favorite seating features in all of Magic Kingdom.
In this review, we'll go over what you can get gluten free at Pinocchio Village Haus and whether or not I think it's worth a stop.
Location & Atmosphere
Pinocchio Village Haus is located in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom, right next to the "it's a small world" attraction. It's also been here since the park opened in 1971!
This quick-service restaurant is themed around Pinocchio, with both indoor and outdoor seating available.
Now, remember that favorite seating feature I mentioned? Several tables are placed right up against windows overlooking the loading area for "it's a small world." From these tables, you can watch the boats go by while you eat.
I always try to snag one of these seats when I visit. It's a pretty fun way to enjoy lunch, especially if you're a Disney nerd like me.
Ordering & Service
As mentioned, this is a quick-service restaurant, meaning there are no servers. You can either order at the register or through the My Disney Experience app.
I usually prefer to grab a table and place a mobile order, and allergy requests are available directly through the app. There's even a section specifically for gluten-free and allergy-friendly ordering, which makes finding the appropriate options much easier.
That said, if you have a severe allergy, I highly recommend ordering at the counter and speaking with a Cast Member about your allergy before ordering. Many Disney quick-service locations have an allergy-trained cook or manager available to help with these requests, and I personally feel more comfortable having that conversation in person when cross-contact is a major concern.
On this visit, I grabbed one of the window seats and ordered a pizza, chicken strips, and brownie, all gluten free, through the My Disney Experience app.
Once your order is ready, you'll receive an alert through the app telling you where to pick it up. This particular order took much longer than usual. My typical wait for an allergy-friendly quick-service order is around 10-20 minutes, but this time it was closer to 40 minutes, and I never really got a clear answer as to why.
When it was finally ready, though, a manager brought the food directly to me wearing gloves, and everything was clearly marked as allergy friendly.

Prices are pretty standard for a Disney quick-service restaurant, and I think the portions are generally reasonable for the price.

What I Ordered
On this trip, I ordered:

Gluten Free Pepperoni Pizza
The gluten-free pepperoni pizza was a pretty good size, measuring a little wider than some of the other gluten-free pizzas I've had around the parks.
The crust was thin and slightly chewy, with a thin layer of tangy tomato sauce and a generous amount of melted mozzarella cheese. The pizza was cut into eight small slices, with one piece of pepperoni on each slice.
Overall, I'd say this pizza falls squarely into the not amazing, but not terrible category.
Would I order it again? Maybe. If I were craving pizza while visiting Magic Kingdom, this would probably be my go-to since it's the only quick-service location in the park where I've found a gluten-free pizza option.
And for the price, you do get a pretty decent amount of food by theme park standards.
Allergy-Friendly Chicken Strips
The chicken strips were a little overcooked and had a somewhat interesting texture. The breading was also different from some of the other gluten-free chicken strips I've tried around the parks.
One thing I did really like, though, was that these were made with actual pieces of chicken rather than the somewhat spongy, processed texture you sometimes get with chicken tenders.
The breading had a slightly different texture and flavor from the standard chicken strips, but overall, I thought they were pretty good.
The strips come with fries, and I grabbed some honey mustard sauce from the nearby condiment station.
Unfortunately, the fries weren't my favorite. They were pretty stale and tasted like they had been sitting out for a while, which definitely brought the overall meal down a notch.
Allergy-Friendly Brownie
The brownie was a nice little treat to finish things off.
Usually when I order a gluten-free brownie or cookie at Disney, I find that they're made by the David's brand. Here, however, the brownie was from Sweet Street, which is also the brand used at Sebastian's Bistro when you order their brownie with ice cream.
I really like both brands for gluten-free cookies and brownies. David's tends to be a little larger, but the Sweet Street brownie is wonderfully fudgy and gooey.
If you're looking for a little gluten-free sweet treat while in Magic Kingdom, I think this one is absolutely worth the price.

- Hours: Typically open from 11:00 AM-9:00 PM, though hours can change.
- Seating: Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. If you want one of the coveted "it's a small world" viewing tables, I recommend grabbing your table before placing your mobile order.
- Allergies: If you have a severe allergy, let a Cast Member know before ordering so they can walk you through the available allergy-friendly options and preparation.
- Pricing: Expect to spend roughly $7-$13 for the gluten-free options I tried. That's pretty standard for a Disney quick-service meal, and I thought the pizza and chicken strip portions were fairly generous.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I thought the gluten-free options at Pinocchio Village Haus were pretty decent. Nothing I ordered completely blew me away, but I also wouldn't hesitate to eat here again when I need a gluten-free meal at Magic Kingdom.
I imagine the allergy-friendly versions are fairly similar to the standard versions of the foods Pinocchio Village Haus serves, which is always a plus.
Of the three things I ordered, I'm most likely to get the pizza and brownie again. The chicken strips were pretty good, but the breading wasn't my favorite, and the stale fries definitely didn't help.
If you're looking for a convenient gluten-free quick-service meal in Magic Kingdom, I'd say Pinocchio Village Haus is worth keeping on your list.
