Taste Test:
The first thing I noticed was the appearance. These are large, bright green tortilla chips with a generous coating of seasoning. They're the classic triangle shape and each chip is about the size of my palm.
The thickness is fairly standard, but the texture is what really stands out. They're wonderfully crunchy with just a slight grit from the seasoning. They feel a little lighter and airier than a traditional tortilla chip, almost somewhere between a regular tortilla chip and a rice-based cracker.
They're sturdy enough for most dips, although I don't think they're quite as sturdy as a traditional corn tortilla chip.
As for the flavor... it's big.
These chips have a very bold seasoning that actually overpowered the dip I originally bought them for. The guacamole flavor is definitely there, but I wouldn't say they taste strongly of avocado. Instead, the dominant flavors are lime, cilantro, garlic, and onion-the ingredients you'd typically mix into guacamole.
