EPCOT Restrooms Guide: Locations, Quietest Bathrooms & More

  • Facebook
  • Email

When you're spending an entire day in the parks, knowing where to find the closest EPCOT restroom can be surprisingly helpful....but not all Disney bathrooms are created equal. Some are constantly packed, while others are tucked away in quiet corners of the park where you can almost always find an empty stall.

In this guide, I'll go over the restroom locations throughout EPCOT, along with how busy they tend to be, how much privacy you can expect, and which ones I personally prefer. We'll start with the bathrooms outside the park entrances before making our way through EPCOT.

Before Entering EPCOT:

epcot restroom near buses

Near the Bus Stops

Location: Between the park exit and the entrance to the bus stops.
Busyness: Low
Privacy: Moderate - plenty of stalls and usually very few people inside.
Best For: A quick stop when entering or leaving the park, especially if you're using rideshare.

This is actually one of the EPCOT restrooms I've used the most since it's also the closest bathroom to the rideshare pickup and drop-off area. Despite being near the main entrance, I've rarely seen more than a couple of other people inside, and it has always been surprisingly clean. If you want to make one last stop before heading back to your hotel, this is a good one to remember.

Near Ticketing

Location: On the far left side of the ticketing area before entering the park.
Busyness: Low
Privacy: Moderate - plenty of stalls with generally low crowds.
Best For: Using the restroom before entering EPCOT when coming from the parking lot.

This is the closest restroom to the parking lot, making it a convenient stop if you need to go before getting in line to enter the park. In my experience, it tends to be used more by cast members than guests and generally stays fairly quiet. Cleanliness can be a little more hit or miss than the restroom near the buses, but it's rarely crowded.

International Gateway

Location: Just outside the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT.
Busyness: Moderate
Privacy: Low to moderate - there are plenty of stalls, but you'll usually find a steady amount of foot traffic.
Best For: A quick stop before entering or leaving EPCOT if you're coming from a nearby resort or using the Disney Skyliner.

This restroom sits between the International Gateway entrance and the nearby Skyliner station, so it's incredibly convenient if you're entering EPCOT through the back of the park. It's also a very strategic stop on the way out - especially if you've spent the afternoon enjoying an adult beverage or two around World Showcase and are about to hop on the Skyliner.

World Celebration, World Discovery & World Nature:

epcot restroom near spaceship earth

Either Side of Spaceship Earth

Location: On either side of Spaceship Earth, near the front of the park.
Busyness: High
Privacy: Low
Best For: A quick stop before heading into or leaving the park.

These are probably some of the busiest restrooms in all of EPCOT, especially around park opening and closing when everyone is moving through the same area. They're certainly convenient, but if you're looking for somewhere quiet or a little more private, there are much better options just a short walk away.

connections eatery restroom epcot

Inside Connections Eatery

Location: Inside the Connections Eatery dining room.
Busyness: High
Privacy: Low
Best For: Stopping while eating at Connections Eatery or on your way toward Guardians of the Galaxy or Test Track.

I've used this restroom quite a few times after making a stop at Club Cool for a Cucumber Sprite. Even though it's tucked inside the restaurant and slightly off the main pathway, it still gets fairly busy. That said, it's incredibly convenient and usually a better option than the restroom closer to Test Track.

restroom near test track guardians of the galaxy

Behind Club Cool / Near Test Track

Location: Between Connections Eatery and Test Track, behind the Club Cool area.
Busyness: High
Privacy: Low
Best For: A quick stop before Test Track, Guardians of the Galaxy, or heading toward World Showcase.

This is one of the restrooms I tend to avoid in EPCOT. It's almost always busy and, in my experience, can be a little messier than some of the quieter locations around the park. Unless you really need to go, I'd walk the short distance over to the restroom inside Connections Eatery instead.

the odessey interior restroom epcot

Inside The Odyssey

Location: Inside The Odyssey building, down a hallway near the left-side entrance/exit.
Busyness: Low
Privacy: Moderate - several stalls with very little foot traffic.
Best For: Finding a quiet restroom away from the crowds.

I love this restroom because so many people don't realize it's even there! It's tucked down a hallway near the registers and is incredibly easy to miss unless you already know where to look. Because of that, it tends to stay surprisingly quiet even when the rest of EPCOT is busy.

Next to Grab & Goof

Location: In the covered area where ¡Celebración Encanto! takes place, near the Grab & Goof pickup window.
Busyness: Moderate
Privacy: Moderate
Best For: A convenient stop while exploring the center of the park.

This restroom sits a little off the main pathway, so it generally doesn't get quite as crowded as some of the more obvious locations nearby. The biggest exception is when ¡Celebración Encanto! or another event is happening in the area, when you'll naturally see a lot more foot traffic.

epcot restroom near swirled showcase

Next to Swirled Showcase

Location: Directly next to Swirled Showcase as you enter World Showcase from the Canada side.
Busyness: High
Privacy: Low
Best For: When you really need to go before heading into World Showcase.

This is the last convenient restroom stop before reaching the UK pavilion if you're walking World Showcase in this direction, and unfortunately, everyone else seems to know that too. It's generally very crowded, and personally, I tend to avoid this one unless it's an emergency. If privacy is your priority, there are much better options elsewhere in this part of the park.

Next to Journey Into Imagination With Figment

Location: Attached to the Journey Into Imagination building, toward the outer side of the pavilion.
Busyness: Low
Privacy: Moderate - several stalls with very little foot traffic.
Best For: Privacy or a quiet bathroom break.

This is probably one of the least-known restroom locations in EPCOT. There really isn't anything else in this direction, and only a small sign points you toward the bathrooms, so most guests never wander over here. In all the times I've used this restroom, I don't think I've ever seen more than one or two other people inside.

epcot restroom near communicore hall

Behind CommuniCore Hall

Location: Around the backside of CommuniCore Hall, facing toward The Land pavilion.
Busyness: Low
Privacy: High
Best For: Privacy and avoiding crowds.

If privacy is your main concern, this is another fantastic restroom to know about. It's tucked behind the building and away from the main flow of foot traffic, so a lot of guests simply don't realize it's there. Every time I've used this location it has also been incredibly clean, which earns it some major bonus points.

epcot land pavilion restroom

Inside The Land - Upper Level

Location: About halfway down the main ramp, across from Garden Grill Restaurant.
Busyness: Moderate
Privacy: Moderate
Best For: A quick stop before Garden Grill, Sunshine Seasons, or Living with the Land.

This restroom is especially convenient if you're already making your way through The Land pavilion. Cleanliness can be a little hit or miss depending on how busy the day is, but I've never found it overwhelmingly crowded. It's a good middle-of-the-road option when you don't feel like hunting down one of the quieter bathrooms.

Inside The Land - Near Soarin'

Location: On the lower level of The Land pavilion, across from Soarin' Around the World.
Busyness: Moderate
Privacy: Moderate
Best For: Stopping before or after riding Soarin'.

This restroom is used primarily by guests heading to or coming off Soarin', so you'll usually find a steady stream of people inside. Since Soarin' is such a popular attraction, it can definitely get busier during peak times, but I've generally found it manageable.

epcot aquarium restroom

Inside The Seas Aquarium

Location: On the first floor toward the back of the aquarium, near the elevator.
Busyness: Low
Privacy: Moderate - only a handful of stalls, but very little foot traffic.
Best For: Avoiding crowds and finding a quieter bathroom.

Since I spend a lot of time wandering around the aquarium, this has become one of my favorite restrooms in EPCOT. A surprising number of people don't know it's there, so it's almost always quiet, and there are even a few additional stalls tucked around a corner that offer a little extra privacy. If you're already exploring The Seas, this is definitely one to remember.

World Showcase

the odessey exterior restroom epcot

Outside The Odyssey / Near Mexico

Location: Between The Odyssey and the Mexico pavilion, slightly off the main World Showcase pathway.
Busyness: Moderate
Privacy: Low
Best For: Convenience, especially while visiting the Mexico pavilion.

This is actually one of the less busy restroom locations around World Showcase and a great one to remember if you're spending time in the Mexico pavilion. It's slightly removed from the main pathway, which helps keep the crowds down, although you'll still usually find a few people coming and going.

epcot restroom norway pavilion

Norway Pavilion

Location: On the side of the Norway pavilion closest to Mexico; follow the pathway toward the back of the pavilion.
Busyness: Moderate to high
Privacy: Low
Best For: Convenience while exploring Mexico, Norway, or China.

This restroom is usually fairly busy because of its central location, but I've rarely encountered much of a wait for a stall. It's also generally pretty clean despite the steady foot traffic, so I don't mind using this one when I'm already nearby.

epcot restroom germany pavilion

Germany Pavilion

Location: Between the last shop in the Germany pavilion and the beginning of the Italy pavilion.
Busyness: High
Privacy: Low
Best For: When you don't want to walk to another pavilion.

This is another restroom I personally prefer to skip. It's right off the main World Showcase pathway, so it gets a ton of foot traffic and I've regularly seen a line here. If you can wait a little longer, I'd continue toward the American Adventure pavilion - or Norway if you're walking in the opposite direction - for a better chance of avoiding a line.

epcot restroom america pavilion

American Adventure Pavilion

Location: Toward the back of the pavilion, outside the building on the right-hand side.
Busyness: Moderate
Privacy: Moderate
Best For: Convenience without much of a wait.

The American Adventure is roughly the halfway point around World Showcase, making this a really convenient place to take a bathroom break before continuing around the lagoon. I've generally found these restrooms to be clean, and despite the central location, I've rarely had to wait for a stall. If you're coming from the crowded Germany bathrooms, I'd definitely hold out for this one if you can.

epcot morocco restroom

Morocco Pavilion

Location: Toward the edge of the Morocco pavilion on the side heading toward France.
Busyness: High
Privacy: Low
Best For: A convenient stop while exploring Morocco.

I use this restroom occasionally if I'm already nearby and there isn't a line, but it's not one of my favorites. There aren't a huge number of stalls compared to the amount of foot traffic passing through this part of World Showcase, so you'll often find a line forming outside. If it's particularly busy, there are better options once you reach France.

epcot les halles restroom

France Pavilion - Inside Les Halles

Location: Inside Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie toward the back of the France pavilion.
Busyness: Moderate
Privacy: High
Best For: Privacy.

Inside Les Halles you'll find two single-stall restrooms, making these some of the most private bathroom options in EPCOT. The downside is that there's often a wait, especially during busy seasons, festivals, or meal times. If privacy is more important to you than speed, though, this is one of the best places to stop around World Showcase.

epcot france restroom

France Pavilion - Near Crêpes À Emporter

Location: Across from Crêpes À Emporter toward the very back of the France pavilion.
Busyness: Moderate
Privacy: Moderate
Best For: A quieter restroom with less of a wait.

This is one of the quieter restroom locations around World Showcase simply because it's tucked so far into the back of the France pavilion. Most of the foot traffic back here is headed toward Remy's Ratatouille Adventure or La Crêperie de Paris, so the restroom itself rarely feels overwhelmingly busy. It's also noticeably quieter than the Les Halles option and usually has much less of a wait.

epcot uk restroom

United Kingdom Pavilion

Location: Across from Rose & Crown Pub near the edge of the UK pavilion.
Busyness: Moderate
Privacy: Low
Best For: A convenient stop when entering or leaving this side of World Showcase.

This is the first - or last, depending on which direction you're walking - restroom you'll find on this side of World Showcase, and surprisingly, it's usually not overwhelmingly busy. I've generally had pretty good luck here without much of a wait. There are exceptions, of course - if you're visiting EPCOT on New Year's Eve, all bets are off.

Quick Guide: Best Restrooms in EPCOT

Quietest: The Seas Aquarium, next to Journey Into Imagination with Figment, and inside The Odyssey. These locations are all a little hidden or removed from the main pathways and, in my experience, rarely have much foot traffic.

Most Private: Behind CommuniCore Hall or the single-stall restrooms inside Les Halles in France. The CommuniCore Hall location is tucked away from the crowds, while the Les Halles restrooms are single-stall bathrooms that offer the most privacy - although you may have to wait for one.

Cleanest: Behind CommuniCore Hall, American Adventure, and the restroom near the buses outside the park. These have consistently been some of the cleanest restrooms I've used in EPCOT, likely helped by their lower crowds and larger number of stalls.

Best Hidden Restroom: Next to Journey Into Imagination with Figment. There isn't much else in this direction, and the restroom is easy to miss unless you know it's there. I've never seen more than a couple of other people inside.

Best World Showcase Restroom: American Adventure. It's not the most exciting or themed restroom in EPCOT, but it's conveniently located about halfway around World Showcase, I've never had to wait for a stall, and it's consistently clean.

Best When EPCOT Is Packed: The Seas Aquarium, inside The Odyssey, or the restroom near Crêpes À Emporter in France. All three are tucked away from the heaviest foot traffic and tend to have some of the shortest waits I've encountered on busy park days.

Restrooms I Usually Avoid: The restroom between Test Track and Connections Eatery, the one near Swirled Showcase, and the Germany pavilion restroom. These tend to be some of the busiest and most crowded bathrooms in EPCOT, and during especially busy times they can be difficult to navigate. If you can wait a few more minutes, there's usually a better option nearby.

Tips for Finding & Using Restrooms at EPCOT

Accessible Stalls: All of the standard restrooms throughout EPCOT have at least one wheelchair-accessible stall. You can also find companion restrooms throughout the park if you need additional space or assistance.

Restrooms Inside Restaurants: Most of EPCOT's sit-down restaurants have their own restrooms, but generally you'll need to be dining at the restaurant to access them. One exception worth knowing about is Rose & Crown Pub in the UK pavilion! There's a restroom tucked toward the far right side of the bar that a surprising number of people don't realize is there.

Not Every World Showcase Pavilion Has a Restroom: Don't assume you'll find a bathroom in the next country! Public restrooms around World Showcase can be found in or around Norway, Germany, the American Adventure, Morocco, France, and the UK. There are also restrooms near the edges of World Showcase, including the location between The Odyssey and Mexico.

Nursing & Baby Care: If you need a private place for nursing, feeding, changing, or taking care of little ones, EPCOT also has dedicated baby care facilities. Ask a cast member to point you toward the nearest appropriate location if you're unsure where to go.

Check for Annual Passholder Lounges: If you're an Annual Passholder, it's always worth checking whether a temporary Passholder lounge is operating during your visit. These locations change from time to time, and depending on where the lounge is being hosted, you may also have access to a quieter restroom nearby or inside.

When in Doubt, Ask a Cast Member: EPCOT is huge, and some of its best restroom locations are surprisingly well hidden. If you need an accessible restroom, companion restroom, baby care facility, or simply the closest bathroom, a Cast Member can usually point you in the right direction.
