La Crêperie de Paris, a table-service restaurant located in EPCOT's France Pavilion, has been on my must-try list for quite a while. After reading that all of their savory galettes are made with buckwheat and naturally gluten-friendly, I knew I had to give it a try. As many of you know, I eat about 99% gluten free, so finding a restaurant with so many options was a huge plus.

On top of that, they also serve authentic French hard cider, which is gluten free as well. Between the gluten-friendly menu and the chance to try something a little different from the usual theme park fare, I couldn't wait to finally check it out.
In this review, I'll go over everything I tried and everything you'll need to know before planning your own visit.

Atmosphere & Location:
La Crêperie de Paris is located in the France Pavilion expansion, right next to the newer Remy's Ratatouille Adventure attraction.
In this area, you'll actually find two different places to enjoy crêpes. La Crêperie de Paris is the full-service sit-down restaurant, while Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris is a quick-service walk-up window with a much smaller menu if you're just looking to grab a crêpe on the go.

Inside, the dining room feels like a modern French café. With plenty of natural light, light wood tables, simple décor, and a handful of cushioned bench seats lining one wall. The atmosphere is clean, relaxed, and understated, making it a nice place to escape the Florida heat for a while without feeling overly formal.
Reservations & Service:
La Crêperie de Paris is a full-service, sit-down restaurant. Reservations are recommended, though they do occasionally offer a walk-up waitlist during slower times of the year.
I've actually had good luck getting reservations the morning of my visit when I decided to stop in for lunch, so if you don't have one booked in advance, it's still worth checking.
Since this is a table-service restaurant, you'll order directly from your server rather than using mobile ordering.
As with many of the dining locations in EPCOT's France Pavilion, the service feels very French. The Cast Members are friendly enough and efficient, but the experience is generally a bit more relaxed and reserved than you may be used to at other Disney restaurants. Which some would say actually think it adds to the authenticity of the experience.
Menu Overview:
The menu at La Crêperie de Paris offers a little something for everyone.
To start, you'll find a small selection of soup and salad, followed by an array of savory buckwheat galettes. If you're gluten free like I am, these are the items you'll want to focus on, as they're made with buckwheat rather than traditional wheat flour.

For dessert, there are several sweet crêpes to choose from. These are made with a different batter containing wheat flour and are not gluten free.
To drink, the menu features several authentic French hard ciders, along with wines, beer, and coffee beverages.
If you'd like to sample a little of everything, there's also a prix fixe menu for $39.95, which includes a starter, one savory galette, one sweet crêpe, and a beverage.

What I Ordered:
I decided to start my meal with the Cidre Brut ($7.95 per glass or $32 per bottle), as I generally prefer drier ciders and champagnes.

The cider was served in a slender flute, similar to what you'd receive with champagne. It ended up being a bit sweeter than I was expecting, but it was still very enjoyable and reminded me quite a bit of an Angry Orchard.
My only complaint was the portion size. For almost $8, I expected something closer to a pint instead of a champagne flute. Next time, I may order the bottle instead to see if it's a better value.

For my entrée, I ordered the Saumon Galette ($18.50), which comes with smoked salmon, crème fraîche, chives, and lemon.
Since the crème fraîche isn't gluten free, my server was able to substitute it with chèvre (goat cheese), which I really appreciated.
The galette itself was much larger than I expected, definitely enough food for one person at lunch. The buckwheat galette was tender, pillowy, and soft, with a slightly grainy flavor that reminded me of whole wheat bread. It was filled with creamy goat cheese and topped with cold smoked salmon.

The flavors were simple, but absolutely delicious. In fact…I liked it so much that I came back the very next day and ordered it again.
Since I've been visiting solo, I haven't had the chance to order one of the sweet crêpes yet. However, I was told that they can prepare the sweet fillings on a buckwheat galette instead of the traditional crêpe, making it gluten friendly. The apple version has definitely caught my eye, so that's at the top of my list for my next visit with a friend.
Know Before You Go:
- Reservations: Reservations are recommended and can be made through the My Disney Experience app. While walk-up availability is sometimes offered, especially during slower seasons, I wouldn't count on it if you have your heart set on eating here.
- Hours: Typically open daily from 9:00 AM-8:50 PM, unless otherwise noted.
- Table Service vs. Quick Service: The France Pavilion has two crêpe locations. La Crêperie de Paris is the full-service sit-down restaurant, while Crêpes À Emporter is the grab-and-go window with a much smaller, more limited menu.
- Best Time to Visit: This is a great option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, making it one of the more versatile dining locations in EPCOT.
- Dietary Accommodations: If you have dietary restrictions, let your server know before ordering. I had no issues substituting the crème fraîche on my galette for goat cheese, and I was also told the sweet crêpe fillings can be served on a buckwheat galette for a gluten-friendly dessert.
- Pricing: Expect to pay around $8 for a glass of cider or wine, about $18 for a savory galette, and around $12 for a sweet crêpe. While I thought the cider was a bit small for the price, the galettes are generously sized and offer a much better value.
