If the weather is nice, I will almost always choose to eat outside at EPCOT. World Showcase Lagoon, the pavilion gardens, and all of the people watching make this one of my favorite Disney parks for grabbing some food and a drink and enjoying the atmosphere for a while.

There aren't actually a ton of restaurants in EPCOT with dedicated outdoor seating, though, especially if you're looking for more than a random table somewhere along the walkway. In this guide, we'll go over the best EPCOT restaurants with outdoor dining, including both quick-service and table-service options, what they serve, how much shade you'll find, and which patios I think are worth seeking out.
Quick-Service Restaurants With Outdoor Seating
La Cantina de San Angel

Location: Mexico Pavilion
Restaurant Type: Quick Service
Outdoor Seating: Waterfront tables overlooking World Showcase Lagoon
Covered or Shaded: Yes
Price: $ | $14.99 and under
Best For: Waterfront views, margaritas, and a quick lunch
Examples of What They Serve:
- Arroz Bowl with Marinated Grilled Chicken
- Tacos de Camarón
- Nachos
- Cerveza
- Margaritas
(Find the full La Cantina de San Angel menu here)
Good to Know: La Cantina is probably my favorite quick-service option if outdoor seating is the priority. The seating area sits right along World Showcase Lagoon, with plenty of covered tables where you can eat, have a margarita, and enjoy the view without baking directly in the Florida sun.
It can get pretty busy around traditional meal times, though, so finding a waterfront table isn't always guaranteed.
Katsura Grill

Location: Japan Pavilion
Restaurant Type: Quick Service
Outdoor Seating: Outdoor tables and benches
Covered or Shaded: Partial shade with umbrellas and surrounding greenery
Price: $ | $14.99 and under
Best For: A quieter outdoor meal
Examples of What They Serve:
- Curry Udon
- Tonkotsu Pork Ramen
- Plum Wine
(Find the full Katsura Grill menu here)
Good to Know: Katsura Grill is a little different from the other outdoor restaurants on this list because the seating is tucked farther back into the Japan pavilion rather than directly along the main World Showcase walkway. The outdoor area is surrounded by Japanese-inspired landscaping, making it feel much quieter and more peaceful than most quick-service seating areas in EPCOT.
If you want to get away from the crowds for a bit, this would be my pick. And personally, I love grabbing a plum wine while I'm there.
Regal Eagle Smokehouse

Location: American Adventure Pavilion
Restaurant Type: Quick Service
Outdoor Seating: Outdoor picnic tables
Covered or Shaded: Many tables have umbrellas
Price: $ | $14.99 and under
Best For: Barbecue, families, and plenty of outdoor tables
Examples of What They Serve:
- Smoked Brisket
- Pulled Pork
- Roasted Chicken
- Beer & Hard Cider
(Find the full Regal Eagle Smokehouse menu here)
Good to Know: Regal Eagle has a pretty large outdoor seating area with picnic tables spread around the front of the restaurant. It's not quite as scenic as La Cantina or Katsura Grill, but it's a convenient choice if you want a casual meal outside with plenty of seating.
The menu is mostly classic American barbecue, and there's also a good selection of beer and usually at least one hard cider available.
Table-Service Restaurants With Outdoor Seating
Spice Road Table

Location: Morocco Pavilion
Restaurant Type: Table Service
Outdoor Seating: Waterfront outdoor dining
Covered or Shaded: Yes, covered
Price: $$ | $15-$35
Best For: Waterfront dining, Mediterranean small plates, and cocktails
Examples of What They Serve:
- Hummus Fries
- Spiced Lamb Kefta
- Crispy Pomegranate-Chili Cauliflower
- Hibiscus Mimosa
(Find the full Spice Road Table menu here)
Good to Know: If you've read any of my other EPCOT guides, you probably already know that Spice Road Table is my absolute favorite restaurant in the park. The outdoor dining area sits right along World Showcase Lagoon and is covered, so you can enjoy the water view without sitting directly under the Florida sun.
The menu is made up primarily of Mediterranean-inspired small plates, which makes this a great place to order a few dishes and slowly pick at them with a cocktail. This is easily my personal pick for the best table-service patio in EPCOT.

Rose & Crown Dining Room

Location: United Kingdom Pavilion
Restaurant Type: Table Service
Outdoor Seating: Waterfront outdoor dining
Covered or Shaded: Yes, covered
Price: $$ | $15-$35
Best For: British pub food and nighttime lagoon views
Examples of What They Serve:
- Bangers & Mash
- Cottage Pie
- Fish & Chips
- Beer & Hard Cider
(Find the full Rose and Crown Dining Room menu here)
Good to Know: Rose & Crown has one of the most sought-after outdoor dining areas in EPCOT because portions of the patio sit right along World Showcase Lagoon. The covered outdoor tables are a lovely place to have some classic British pub food and a pint while enjoying the waterfront atmosphere.
This is also my pick if you're hoping to combine dinner with EPCOT's nighttime spectacular. A well-timed reservation can give you an excellent view, although outdoor tables and specific seating locations aren't guaranteed.
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

Location: Italy Pavilion
Restaurant Type: Table Service
Outdoor Seating: Outdoor tables and chairs
Covered or Shaded: Partial shade with umbrellas
Price: $$ | $15-$35
Best For: Pizza and a casual outdoor family meal
Examples of What They Serve:
- Arancini
- Quattro Formaggi Pizza
- Penne alla Bolognese
- Filetto di Manzo
(Find the fill Via Napoli menu here)
Good to Know: Via Napoli has outdoor tables available in the Italy pavilion, making it another option if you'd rather have a full sit-down meal without heading indoors. Unlike Spice Road Table and Rose & Crown, you won't have a waterfront view here, but the surrounding Italy pavilion makes for a pretty setting.
This is also probably the most family-friendly table-service patio on the list, especially if you've got a group that would happily split a big pizza.
Quick Guide: Best Outdoor Dining in EPCOT
Best Waterfront Dining: Spice Road Table
Spice Road Table gets my vote for the best overall waterfront dining experience. The covered patio sits directly along World Showcase Lagoon, and I love ordering a few small plates and a cocktail and just hanging out for a while.
Best Fireworks View: Rose & Crown Dining Room
If you're trying to combine dinner with the nighttime show, Rose & Crown is my pick. The waterfront patio can offer fantastic views across the lagoon, although I wouldn't book solely for this reason since a specific outdoor table isn't guaranteed.
Best Table-Service Patio: Spice Road Table
This is entirely personal preference, but Spice Road Table wins again for me. Covered seating, waterfront views, Mediterranean small plates, cocktails - yep. That's my happy place.
Best Quick-Service Outdoor Seating: La Cantina de San Angel
For quick service, I'd go with La Cantina. You get covered waterfront seating, Mexican food, and margaritas without needing a dining reservation. What's not to love?
Most Peaceful: Katsura Grill
If your main goal is escaping the World Showcase crowds for a little while, head deeper into the Japan pavilion to Katsura Grill. Its garden-like outdoor seating area feels much more tucked away than the restaurants sitting directly along the main pathway.
Tips for Outdoor Dining at EPCOT
Look Around Connections Eatery: Connections Eatery isn't one of my main outdoor dining picks, but there are sometimes picnic tables available outside. If you're already grabbing something from Connections and the weather is nice, it's worth checking before automatically heading inside.
Use Mobile Order for Quick Service: Most of EPCOT's major quick-service restaurants offer Mobile Order through the My Disney Experience app. Order your food while you're walking over and spend less of your precious patio time standing in line.
Make Reservations for Table Service: If you want to eat at Spice Road Table, Rose & Crown, or Via Napoli, I highly recommend making a reservation rather than relying on walk-up availability.
Outdoor Seating Isn't Guaranteed: Having a reservation at a restaurant with a patio doesn't necessarily guarantee you'll be seated outside. You can request outdoor seating when you check in, but be prepared to wait longer or accept an indoor table if the patio is full.
Think About the Time of Day: Outdoor dining in EPCOT can be wonderful in the morning, evening, and during cooler months. At 2:00 PM in the middle of a Florida summer? Maybe less wonderful. Look for covered seating and keep the heat in mind when making your plans.
Expect Patios to Get Busier at Night: Waterfront seating becomes particularly popular as EPCOT's nighttime show approaches. If eating outside is more important to you than seeing the fireworks, an earlier lunch or dinner will generally give you a better chance at getting the outdoor table you want.
