Everywhere to Find Breakfast in EPCOT

  • Facebook
  • Email

There are quite a few places to grab breakfast in EPCOT, but unlike some of the other Disney parks, they're spread out and not always easy to find. Depending on how you like to start your park day, you can grab something quick with your coffee, stop for pastries at a bakery, sit down for a full breakfast, or even have breakfast with a few Disney Princesses.

There are also several gluten-free and allergy-friendly choices available throughout the park. In this guide, we'll go over everywhere to find breakfast in EPCOT, including what each location serves, breakfast hours, approximate prices, and a few helpful things to know before you go.

Good to Know: This walk-up French bakery has a huge selection of sandwiches, quiche, croissants, pastries, desserts, and drinks, making it one of the most versatile quick breakfast options in EPCOT. It's an especially good choice if everyone in your group wants something different - or if you'd simply like a croissant and coffee before continuing around World Showcase.

Parisian Breakfast at Chefs de France

le chefs de france

Location: France Pavilion
Restaurant Type: Table Service / Prix Fixe Experience

Price: $$$$ | Around $60 per person
Best For: A leisurely French breakfast or special occasion

Examples of What They Serve:

  • French Pastries
  • Traditional French Breakfast Items
  • Coffee & Breakfast Beverages

Good to Know: The Parisian Breakfast is a relatively new and limited dining experience at EPCOT, offering an all-you-care-to-enjoy French breakfast inside the popular Chefs de France restaurant. It's definitely one of the pricier ways to start your morning, but it's also much more of an experience than a quick breakfast stop. Availability is limited and reservations are required, so this is one you'll want to plan ahead for.

Quick Guide: Best Breakfast in EPCOT

Best Quick Breakfast: Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie
Les Halles is my pick if you want something quick, affordable, and with enough variety for just about everyone. You'll find both sweet and savory options, including croissants, quiche, sandwiches, pastries, and coffee. There are only a handful of tables inside, but you can find additional seating outside near the water.

Best Sit-Down Breakfast: Garden Grill Restaurant
Although it's a little pricey, Garden Grill has a great variety of familiar American breakfast staples served family style, plus characters coming around to visit while you eat. The slowly rotating restaurant and views into Living with the Land also make the atmosphere a lot more interesting than your average breakfast spot.

Best Character Breakfast: Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
If characters and theming are your priority, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is my pick. You'll get a mix of familiar breakfast favorites and Norwegian-inspired dishes while several Disney Princesses make their way around the restaurant for meet-and-greets. It's definitely a splurge, but you get breakfast and several character interactions wrapped into one experience.

Best Grab-and-Go Breakfast: Crêpes À Emporter
I love stopping here for a savory galette and something bubbly to walk around World Showcase with. There are both sweet crêpes and savory buckwheat galettes available, and yes, you can absolutely pair your 9:00 AM breakfast with a French cider or champagne. You're at EPCOT - I'm not judging.

Best Sweet Breakfast: Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe
If you love starting the morning with something sweet, head to Kringla in the Norway pavilion. You'll find Norwegian pastries and treats like the famous School Bread, lefse, apple cake, and creamy rice pudding, plus coffee to go along with it.

Tips for Eating Breakfast at EPCOT

Check Opening Times: Not every restaurant opens with the park, especially once you get into World Showcase. If you already know where you want to eat, check the hours before your visit so you don't walk halfway around the park only to find out it isn't open yet.

Make Reservations for Table Service: If you're planning on breakfast at Garden Grill, Akershus, or another sit-down experience, make a reservation ahead of time when possible. Character dining in particular can fill up quickly during busier times of year.

Consider Eating After Rope Drop: If rides are a priority, you may want to take advantage of those lower morning wait times before stopping for breakfast. Ride a few of your must-dos first and then grab something to eat once the park starts getting busier.

World Showcase Has Fewer Early-Morning Options: Most World Showcase restaurants don't open until closer to lunch, generally around 11:00 AM. There are a handful of exceptions, especially in Norway and France, but you'll have significantly more choices toward the front of the park first thing in the morning.

Don't Overlook the Bakeries: You don't necessarily need a dedicated breakfast menu to find a good breakfast in EPCOT. Bakeries like Les Halles and Kringla have pastries, sandwiches, coffee, and plenty of other things that work perfectly well for a quick morning meal.

Check Allergy Menus Ahead of Time: Disney has quite a few gluten-free and allergy-friendly breakfast options, but availability varies by restaurant. Check the current allergy menus before your visit, and don't hesitate to ask a Cast Member about your options when ordering.

Don't Rely on Festival Booths for Breakfast: EPCOT's festival booths generally open later in the day, and the menus change from festival to festival. Definitely enjoy them once they're open, but I wouldn't make them part of your breakfast plan.

Remember That Menus & Hours Change: Disney changes menus, prices, and operating hours fairly regularly, so always double-check the My Disney Experience app or current Disney menu before your trip - especially if there's one particular breakfast you're planning your morning around.
