Let me tell you about one of my favorite dessert spots in all of EPCOT, L'Artisan des Glaces.

Located within the France Pavilion, this little "hidden" gem serves handcrafted ice cream and ice cream-related treats, some of which you truly can't get anywhere else in all of Walt Disney World Resort.
Now, I should probably mention that I am a complete ice cream addict, so take that into consideration as you read this review. If there is ice cream available, chances are I will find it.
In this review, we'll go over all of my personal thoughts as well as everything you need to know before planning your own visit.
Atmosphere & Location:
L'Artisan des Glaces is located within the France Pavilion at EPCOT.
To find it, walk toward the back of Chefs de France as if you are heading to Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. Just before you reach Les Halles, you'll find the little ice cream shop on your left.

You'll probably know you've arrived by the line stretching out the door.
And yes, it gets busy, but there is definitely a reason for that.

Inside, the shop is decorated in a charming French patisserie style, with elegant moldings, glass display cases, warm lighting, and classic European details. The space itself is fairly small, consisting primarily of an ice cream counter and a few registers.

There is no seating inside the shop itself, but there are a handful of small tables located just outside. If those are full, I often head into Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, where you'll find additional indoor seating as well as nearby restrooms.
The Menu:
On the menu at L'Artisan des Glaces, you'll find a variety of handcrafted ice creams and sorbets, along with several unique ice cream-based desserts.

My personal favorite flavor is the Coconut White Chocolate, but there are usually several options to choose from depending on the season.

(Find the full L'Artisan des Glaces menu here.)
Beyond traditional scoops, you'll also find:
- Ice Cream Martini flights
- Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches
- Seasonal specialties
- The incredibly popular Croque Glacé
If you've never heard of a Croque Glacé, it's essentially ice cream stuffed inside a brioche bun that's pressed warm like a sandwich.
What I Order:
Because I typically eat gluten-free, I usually stick with either a scoop of ice cream in a cup or the seasonal Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich ($8.95).

The sandwich can be ordered in chocolate or a rotating seasonal flavor, such as lemon or pumpkin, and it has become one of my favorite desserts in all of Disney.
The macaron itself is about the size of my palm, much larger than a traditional French macaron, and packed with ice cream.

The cookie has a slightly sticky, chewy texture that I personally love, while the chocolate flavor leans more milk chocolate than dark chocolate. Sweet, creamy, and incredibly satisfying.
It's rich enough that I could honestly split one with another person, though I rarely do.
