This Tater Tot Casserole is made with ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, and green beans tops with tater tots and plenty of cheddar cheese.

Ingredient Notes:
- Ground Beef: I like using lean ground beef so the casserole doesn't end up too greasy.
- Cheddar Cheese: Freshly shredding a block gives you a much better melt than pre-shredded cheese.
Dietary Swaps:
- Gluten-Free: Use gluten-free cream of mushroom soup and check the tater tot packaging to make sure they're gluten-free.
- Vegetarian: Swap the ground beef for a plant-based ground beef alternative.
- Worcestershire Sauce Substitute: If you don't have Worcestershire sauce, you can use a small splash of soy sauce or coconut aminos instead.
Recipe Variations:
- Add Extra Veggies: Such as sauteed mushrooms, English peas, or carrots.
- Make it Extra Savory: By adding cooked bacon into the beef and cream of mushroom micture.
- Swap beef for ground sausage, ground chicken, or ground turkey.
Other Notes:
- Drain excess fat from cooked ground beef before combining with the other ingredients.
- Let casserole sit for 5-10 minutes after baking to let it settle.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
