– 1 1/2 tbsp butter salted or unsalted – 3 cup baby bella mushrooms cleaned and sliced – 3 cloves garlic minced – 2 tbsp dry white wine – 1/2 tsp fresh thyme leaves – 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce – 2 slices rustic crusty bread such as sourdough – 4 slices provolone cheese – 1/4 cup shredded Italian cheese – salt & pepper to taste

Prepare the Mushrooms: – Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. – Lightly season the mushrooms and sauté them for 6-7 minutes until they are tender and golden brown. Add Flavorings: – Add minced garlic, fresh thyme, Worcestershire sauce, and white wine to the skillet. – Sauté for an additional 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant and the mixture is well combined.

Toast the Bread: – Toast the bread slices until they are crispy and golden. Melt the Provolone Cheese: – Place slices of provolone cheese on the toasted bread. – Melt the cheese under the broiler until it is bubbly and slightly browned.
