Key Ingredients:
- Frozen French Fries: Baked until golden & crispy. Use your favorite type of french fry. These are great with regular fries, waffle fries, or even curly fries!
- Cheddar Cheese: Freshly shredded straight from the block.
- Bacon: Cooked & crumbled for a savory crunchy topping.
- Sour Cream & Ranch Dressing: Mixed together until smooth for a creamy, slightly tangy sauce to drizzle on top.
- Green Onions: Thinly sliced and sprinkled on top.

Dietary Swaps:
- Gluten-Free: This recipe is naturally gluten-free, just double check all store bought ingredients to ensure they are certified gluten-free.
- Dairy-Free: Swap the shredded cheese, sour cream, and ranch dressing for dairy-free alternatives. Daiya or VioLife cheddar both melt pretty well!
- Vegetarian: Skip the crumbled bacon on top or use plant-based bacon bits.

Recipe Variations:
- Big Mac Fries: Skip the bacon, drizzle with thousand island dressing and a few dollops of pickle relish and shredded lettuce.
- Nacho Fries: Swap the cheddar cheese for nacho cheese. Add a few sliced jalapenos for some heat.
- Pizza Fries: Use shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and a drizzle of marinara sauce.
- Chicken Bacon Ranch Fries: Add a few chopped chicken tenders.

Tips & Notes:
- Shred the cheese fresh and straight from the block. It melts much much better than pre-shredded cheese.
- Freshly shredded cheese melts quick! So keep a close eye on it when baking or broiling.
- Use your favorite fries, shoestring, crinkle cut, waffle fries, or even curly fries. They all work really well with this recipe.
- This recipe can also be made in the air-fryer! Add a piece of aluminum to the air fryer basket. Cook fries according to directions on package, top with cheese and bacon, and cook another minute or so.
- If you would like to try to make homemade fries, you can use my recipe for Pommes Frites for a delicious double fry method.

Storage & Reheating:
- These fries are best served fresh, but if you do have leftovers they can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
- Reheat in the air fryer or oven until cheese has remelted and fries are warmed through.
